It will make landfall between today midnight and tomorrow morning near Inner Kanika-Dhamra. The storm may recurve slightly after landfall, he said. Kendrapara-Bhadrak will be more affected due to ‘dana’.

Due to the fury of Dana, it has started raining in different places. It will grow gradually. At this time, the sea will be rough and the tide will be about 2 meters high, he said.

Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Mayuverbanj, Dhenkanal, Jajpur and other districts will experience heavy rain. He said that there will be heavy to very heavy rain in Howrah, Hooghly and Kolkata.
