Sri Balabhadra blesses devotees today as Harihara, with temple attendants enshrining Lada Thakur in this special attire after the temple’s leisure rituals. Known as “Har” or Shiva, elder Thakur’s appearance highlights the harmony of Hari and Har.
In this attire, Lada Thakur wears half-white and half-black clothing adorned with 32 golden ornaments. Meanwhile, Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath appears to devotees as Radha Damodar. Floral attendants have artistically decorated Lada Thakur as Harihara and Shri Jagannath as Radha Damodar.
Following the Lord’s leisure ritual in the temple, Lada Thakur takes on the form of Harihara, while Lord Shri Jagannath appears as Radha Damodar. The floral attendants have beautifully adorned Lada Thakur as Harihara and Shri Jagannath as Radhadamodar, leaving devotees fulfilled with the darshan of Shri Jagannath’s Radhadamodar form and Lada Thakur’s Harihara form.
