Bhubaneswar: An important meeting of the state cabinet is going on. This meeting has started under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at 10 am today. So, it is believed that this meeting can emphasize on 2 important proposals. This cabinet meeting is considered very important as the winter session continues.
Two important proposals are likely to be approved in the 67th Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. However, it is not clear which specific issues are going to be discussed. So this meeting is very important for the state.
Yesterday, from the beginning of the question period, the BJP and Congress MLAs had a heated argument in the cabinet house. The oppositions BJP and Congress clashed, demanding complete withdrawal of the cabinet decision on tribal land and again discussion on that in the house.
From the beginning of the question period, there was a lot of commotion, and they went to the speaker’s podium and protested with opposition placards. As a result, the question period could not able to continue.
BJP members left the Assembly yesterday and went to the Raj Bhawan to meet the Governor. A group of BJP MLAs has returned to the Governor demanding complete withdrawal of the Cabinet decision regarding the sale of tribal lands.
