A young man was attacked by three bears while returning from his father-in-law’s house in Benenga Guda village, Hatibari panchayat, under Padua police station in Koraput district. Despite being seriously injured, Ramdas Pangi managed to survive the brutal attack.
Yesterday, Ramdas was on his way home from Kona village, where his father-in-law lives, when the bears ambushed him. The young man fought off the bears in a desperate struggle for survival.
Upon hearing the distressing news, villagers rushed to the scene and rescued him in critical condition. They first took him to Nandpur Community Health Centre. As his condition worsened, Ramdas was later transferred to Koraput Medical Center for further treatment.
