The Crime Branch is actively investigating the case involving the torture of an Indian Army Major and his companion. Today, a team will arrive at the scene to conduct a thorough investigation, visiting both Bharatpur police station and Pathagadia.
Road romeos allegedly clashed with the Major and his companion on Pathagadiya road. They also reported being tortured at Bharatpur police station. The investigation will uncover what transpired at these locations and the circumstances surrounding the confusion that day.
Authorities have directed the investigation team to Bharatpur and Chandka police stations to ensure necessary security arrangements. Additionally, the Commissionerate Police has assigned personal security officers to protect the army Major.
On the night of the 15th, road romeos filed a complaint regarding the Major’s gang at Chandka road and subsequently went to Bharatpur police station, claiming police brutality. As a result, five individuals, including the IIC, have faced suspension. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident.
