In a disturbing incident at Sanmatikana Residential School in the Kashipur block of Rayagada district, a fifth-grade student allegedly injured a class one student while performing a magic trick. The students were playing a magic game in the hostel when the older student used a blade, claiming it was part of the show.
The injured child is now in critical condition and has been admitted to Rayagada District Medical Center. Tikiri police are investigating the incident. So far, neither the school authorities nor the police have made any statements about the case.
