The Director General of Police (DGP) Conference officially opens in Bhubaneswar today, marking its third day of discussions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and senior police officers, including DGPs and IGs, to address key national security challenges.
Over the past two days, attendees actively explored solutions to pressing issues, including cybercrime, coastal security, and combating Naxal threats. Yesterday, the Prime Minister highlighted the constructive discussions on police and security matters that took place.
The conference has focused extensively on internal security, terrorism, and strategies to tackle Naxal insurgencies. Today’s agenda includes vital deliberations on issues like the Naxal problem, narcotics control, coastal security, and financial security, aiming to shape a comprehensive roadmap for national safety.
