According to the report, the price of 24 carat 10 gram gold has reached 76,950. This increase is seen in big cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh.
Gold prices hit record highs in international markets after rising 1% in the last session. Spot gold prices rose 0.3% to over $2,665 an ounce in the international market.
According to experts, the price of gold on MCX is likely to reach 79,000 to 80,000 by the end of this year.
Similarly, the rupee rose by 4.6% to reach its highest level in four months. The rupee gained 4.6% on Tuesday, its biggest one-day gain in four months.
