The conflict between Israel and Iran has escalated once again. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi has issued a direct threat to Iran, stating that if Iran attacks Israel or shows aggression, the response will be more severe than before.
Halevi emphasized, “If Iran makes a mistake and fires another missile at Israel, the consequences will be dire.” He spoke at Raman Air Base in southern Israel, following an Iranian missile strike. He warned, “We will also teach you how to reach Iran.”
He noted that certain areas were not deliberately targeted during the last confrontation. However, he made it clear that any further provocation would prompt a more forceful response. “This time we will apply our unused capacity to reach Iran,” he said. He added that Israel will hit with full force in areas they previously targeted, asserting, “We haven’t finished any work. We are now in the middle of everything. So let’s think before Iran reacts.”
On October 1, the Iranian military launched approximately 180 missiles at Israel. In response, Israel declared that Iran would face consequences for this attack. On October 26, Israel retaliated with an air strike on Iran.
The strike targeted a military site in Tehran, Ilam, Khuzestan, at around 2:30 PM local time. As Iran considers its response, Israel has issued a warning to Tehran.
