Kashinath Mishra’s Son Worshipped as Kalki Avatar, Social Media Outrage Follows

A minor was crowned as Lord Ananta Madhav, with Kalki avatar worshipped and tulips and garlands placed under his feet. A video showing the boy, dressed in a pant-shirt and seated on a chowki, being worshipped has gone viral on social media. The incident has sparked widespread criticism, with various organizations strongly opposing the act.

The Children’s Commission has filed a formal complaint and sought a report from the Bharatpur police station within 15 days. The CWC has also ordered an investigation into the matter.

The boy in the video is reportedly the son of Kashinath Mishra, a speaker residing in Khadgiri, Bhubaneswar. Mishra named his son Lord Ananta Madhav, and multiple photos show the boy adorned with garlands and tulsi placed under his feet. The State Samaj Seva Maha Sangh complained to the Bharatpur police station, demanding action.

The Maha Sangha criticized the act, stating that tulsi, which traditionally crowns Mahaprabhu Jagannath, was placed disrespectfully under the boy’s feet. They also accused Kashinath Mishra’s ashram in Khadgiri of engaging in unethical activities and called for a thorough investigation into the ashram’s operations.
