Kejriwal to Vacate Chief Minister’s Residence on Navratri

Arvind Kejriwal, who has already resigned as Delhi Chief Minister, will now also leave his official residence. He addressed a meeting at Jantar Mantar yesterday, stating that he would vacate the government house only on Navratri, after which he plans to connect with the people.

Kejriwal described the upcoming elections in Delhi as a trial by fire for him, expressing hope that voters will support him again if they believe he has served them honestly over the past decade. He mentioned, “When the BJP thought it could not win the election, it hatched a conspiracy and put one of our leaders in jail. I cannot sit on the chair with the stain of corruption. I have no desire for power or money; I want to live with dignity.”

Although he has resigned, Kejriwal noted that he doesn’t have a personal home. Many people have asked why he hasn’t built one in 10 years, with some even offering him a place to stay for free. He reiterated his commitment to the people, stating he will join them during Navratri.
