King Charles of Britain, who has great faith in the ancient Indian medical system, spent three days at a wellness facility in Bengaluru before heading to Australia with his wife, Camilla.
During their stay, they received exceptional health services through Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Yoga at the renowned Soukya International Holistic Centre in Samethanahalli, near Whitefield. King Charles, who is a cancer patient, has visited this facility multiple times.
Spanning 30 acres, the centre blends natural beauty with modern amenities, utilizing ancient Indian medical practices to rejuvenate the body. Dr. Isaac Mathai, the founder of this hospital, was among the select invitees at King Charles’s coronation.

Reports indicate that yoga sessions became part of the royal couple’s morning routine. Their rejuvenation treatment included meditation sessions, yoga, and various therapies, accompanied by a special diet tailored to their needs.
Officials noted that King Charles and Camilla enjoyed walking through the expansive grounds and even visited the organic farm during their stay. They departed on Wednesday morning after their three-day retreat.

In 2019, King Charles celebrated his 71st birthday at this centre. A long-time supporter of Ayurveda, he attended the inauguration of a new Ayurvedic Center at the Science Museum in London in 2018, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present.
A spokesperson from Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles returned to the UK on Wednesday. This visit to the International Holistic Center ‘Soukya’ marked not his first experience; he also celebrated his birthday there in 2019. Dr Isaac Mathai, who runs the centre, was one of the few individuals from India invited to the King’s coronation on May 6 last year.
