Once again, conspirators attempted to cause a train wreck by placing stones, wood, iron plates, and gas cylinders on the tracks in Uttar Pradesh. Fortunately, authorities stopped the train before any accident could occur, foiling the plot.
At 6 AM today, railway officials discovered a gas cylinder placed on the track at Prempur railway station in Kanpur Dehat district. Miscreants had set up this dangerous scheme.
As a goods train from Kanpur approached Prayagraj, the pilot spotted the cylinder on the tracks and immediately halted the train, preventing a major accident. He promptly informed the relevant departments. Railway IOW, security forces, and other teams later inspected the area and removed the gas cylinder from the tracks. An investigation is currently underway.
This marks the third such incident in Kanpur. A few days ago, the engine and 20 bogies of the Sabarmati Express derailed near Panki Industrial Area, prompting authorities to file an FIR against unknown individuals.
Additionally, officials found fish plates and keys lying on the railway tracks near Surat in Gujarat. While this incident occurred on Saturday, the gas cylinder was discovered today.
