India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for reforms in world organizations to promote peace and development during his speech at the UN office in New York.
Addressing the Summit of the Future at the 79th General Assembly, Modi delivered a powerful 4-minute address, stating, “Terrorism poses the biggest threat to the world, while both sea and space are becoming new battlefields. However, humanity’s success lies in collective unity, not conflict.”
He also emphasized the need for safe and responsible technology use, asserting that he speaks as the voice of human resources from six regions across the globe.
Modi highlighted India’s achievement in sustainable development, noting that 25 crore people have been freed from the grips of poverty.
