Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan recently received death threats, prompting the police to take swift action. They arrested the person responsible for the threat.
According to the Mumbai Police, they apprehended the suspect, Mohammad Faizan Khan, from Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Khan, a lawyer by profession, was arrested at his residence in Raipur this morning.
Faizan Khan had threatened the actor, demanding Rs 50 lakh. The Mumbai Police team is currently in Raipur, interrogating the accused. They will present him in court today.
On November 5, a man called the Bandra Police Station and threatened to kill Shah Rukh Khan while demanding Rs 50 lakh. The police registered a case and traced the phone number used for the call to Mohammad Faizan Khan in Raipur.
A Mumbai Police team then travelled to Chhattisgarh for an investigation. They discovered that Khan’s phone had been stolen three days before the incident, on November 2, and he could not block the number. He had reported the theft to the Raipur police.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is not the only one facing threats. Salman Khan has also received multiple death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Due to these ongoing threats, the police have increased their security.
