The leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar’s group), Sean Kurmi, was killed on Beach Road in Mumbai’s Byculla area. Assailants attacked him with sharp weapons and then fled the scene.
On Friday night, miscreants assaulted Sean Kurmi, the taluka president of the NCP Ajit Pawar group. He sustained serious injuries during the attack.
After the assault, local residents rushed to help him and took him to JJ Hospital in Mumbai, where he later died while receiving treatment. In response, Mumbai Police registered a case against unknown suspects and initiated an investigation.
Authorities have seized Kurmi’s body and sent it for autopsy. The police reported that the attack occurred around 12:30 AM. The motive behind the killing remains unclear, but investigators believe that 2 to 3 individuals participated in the attack.
