
Legendary Indian cricketers Diana Edulji, Virender Sehwag and former Sri Lankan cricketer Arvind D’Silva have been inducted into the International Cricket Council (ICC) Hall of Fame. They will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame on the 15th. It is said that the ICC will specially honor these three on the occasion of the World Cup semi-final to be played between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Edulji becomes the first Indian woman cricketer to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. He played 20 Tests and 34 one-day matches for India and took 404 and 211 wickets respectively. He has 17 years of international cricket experience. Similarly, Sehwag has more than 17,000 international runs in a 14-year career and D’Silva has 19 years of experience.
