Shocking Suicide of Maharashtra DCP’s Son Raises Questions

A 17-year-old boy committed suicide after saying that he had already enjoyed his life. The minor who lost his life is the only son of Maharashtra Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Shilbant Nandendkar. After midnight on Sunday, DCP’s son Sahil was hanged with a bed sheet tied around his neck by the fan of his room. The family is in a state of shock after knowing this in the morning.

Seventeen-year-old Sahil was preparing for the IIT entrance exam parallel to HSC. He was one of the brightest students in his batch.

On Friday, he was very happy as he celebrated dozens of celebrations with his family. He also said funny things while having dinner with his family. The whole house burst into laughter over this. However, just before midnight, he took permission from his family and went to his bedroom. He left his father’s house saying that he had lessons left.

But before he took the extreme step of committing suicide, he mentioned a few things in the paper. A dead note on her bedroom mirror reads, “I have enjoyed this life so much. Enjoyed my body too. I want to start something again. I’m not giving up on life. Just going to start something.”

He was then hanged with a bed sheet around his neck possibly by a ceiling fan in the room. The police recovered the hanging body of Sahil from the DCP’s inquiry bungalow in Sinha Nagar area. In addition, a case has been registered and investigation has been started. An investigation has been launched into the circumstances under which Sahil committed suicide.

The whole incident came to light at 6 o’clock on Sunday morning. DCP Nandendkar picks up his son before going on a morning walk. As usual, Sahil’s room door was not opened on Sunday morning. He repeatedly called and called her.

As there was no reply, DCP Nandendkar was worried. He came to Bengal Bahar and tried to look into the room through the window. Meanwhile, Sahil was found hanging inside the room.

He immediately informed the police and other family members. Finally the door of the room was broken and the hanging body was brought down. He was immediately taken to a government hospital.

There the doctor declared Sahil dead. After post-mortem, it was handed over to the family members. Sahil’s last rites were performed at the Pratapnagar crematorium on Sunday evening.
