Manish Sisodia, senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, predicts that AAP will win all 70 Delhi Assembly seats. He claims that the BJP will not win any seats and that AAP will receive 70 percent of the votes.
Sisodia also accused the BJP of falsely imprisoning him and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He was jailed for 17 months over an unemployment policy corruption case but was recently released, insisting he is innocent.
He criticized the BJP for trying to destabilize other state governments using CBI and ED investigations, but failing to break AAP. Sisodia emphasized that Delhi residents support Kejriwal and expect his release soon.
In the last Assembly elections, AAP won 62 out of 70 seats. Despite poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, Sisodia remains confident in the party’s popularity and strength.
