NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore face being stranded in space. The Boeing Starliner spacecraft carried them to space in the first week of June this year.
Sunita and Wilmore regularly share their experiences from the space station. Living in space, Sunita says she misses her two dogs, friends, and family a lot.

Sunita Williams explained, “I keep running and walking on Earth, with my mind always full of thoughts. You love living on Earth. I enjoy taking my dogs for morning walks and listening to the birds chirp. These are the things I miss the most.”
In a recent press conference from space, Sunita admitted that staying stuck in orbit for several months is difficult, but she enjoys living in space.
Both astronauts expect to return to Earth in February 2025. Meanwhile, with the U.S. presidential election scheduled for November 5, both astronauts plan to vote from space.
