These are the films rejected by Abhishek Bachchan became game changer for Aamir Khan’s Career

Abhishek Bachchan has delivered numerous hits and blockbusters such as Dhoom 3, Dostana, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. However, he has also turned down several blockbuster roles, with three notable instances proving pivotal for Aamir Khan’s career.

Initially, Abhishek Bachchan was approached by director Ashutosh Gowariker for the lead role in the sports drama Lagaan. Despite recognizing the film’s potential, Bachchan declined, feeling he was too inexperienced to carry such an epic project. Aamir Khan ultimately took on the role, infusing the film with his own brand of magic and authenticity, leading to its massive success.

Similarly, Abhishek Bachchan passed on the opportunity to star in Dil Chahta Hai for reasons unknown. The film went on to feature Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshaye Khanna, captivating audiences and cementing its status as an iconic film.

Additionally, Bachchan rejected Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Rang De Basanti, attributing his decision partly to Mehra’s confusing narration style. Feeling uncertain about the script’s direction, Bachchan opted out, allowing Aamir Khan to step in and contribute to the film’s success.

While these films bolstered Aamir Khan’s already-established career, Abhishek Bachchan’s recent film Ghoomer struggled at the box office. Nevertheless, his performance received acclaim from audiences.

Conversely, Aamir Khan faced disappointment with Laal Singh Chadha, prompting a hiatus from films. He is now preparing to make a comeback with projects like Sitaare Zameen Par and Lahore 1947, signaling a new chapter in his illustrious career.
