TMC MP Mahua Maitra expelled from the Parliament

West Bengal’s All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra was expelled from the Parliament. She was expelled on the basis of the report of the ethics committee. The recommendations of the ethics committee have been approved by the Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha Speaker said Mahua’s behavior was unethical.

Today, the Ethics Committee of the Parliament presented a report against Mahua in the Lok Sabh after investigating the case of asking questions in exchange for money. After a debate in the House, the ethics committee recommended to expel Mahua was accepted by voice vote.
