Jingia Oram, the wife of Sundargarh MP and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Joel Oram, has died at 58. She passed away after a 9-day struggle with dengue while being treated at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Jingia Oram was a key figure in Joel Oram’s personal and political life. Her body was brought to their home in Lumbinivihar, Bhubaneswar, last night. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, members of Joel Oram’s cabinet, and many others came to pay their respects and offer condolences.
Today, Jingia Oram’s remains were taken to Kendohi in Sundargarh district for her final rites. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP National Vice President and Lok Sabha MP Baijayant Panda are among the prominent figures who have extended their condolences.
