Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak addressed a program at Ascent Khalsa College in Chamrauli on Sunday and shared his reaction to the state’s by-election results. He announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won seven out of nine seats, declaring it a precursor to the 2027 assembly elections.
Pathak predicted that the Samajwadi Party (SP) would face complete defeat in 2027, stating that the people of Uttar Pradesh would never forget the hooliganism and chaos during the SP’s tenure.
During his speech, Pathak reiterated the BJP’s slogan, “Ek Hain To Safe Hai,” emphasizing that the public desires peace and tranquillity. He highlighted how public opinion has shifted against the anarchy of the SP era and now fully supports the BJP and Yogi-Modi’s government. He credited the by-election results as evidence of this support.
Pathak also participated in the Kirtan Samagam organized for Guru Nanak Dev’s holy arrival day and inaugurated the 100-bed Guru Nanak Hospital at Ascent Khalsa College. He called the hospital’s construction a major relief for rural residents, particularly in providing immediate treatment for highway accident victims. He noted that timely medical care, which was a significant issue earlier, would now be available.
Ascent Khalsa College Manager Gurusharan Singh welcomed Pathak and thanked him for attending. Pathak discussed the state government’s development initiatives and highlighted other advancements at the college.
While detailing government schemes, Pathak assured the audience that the BJP government consistently prioritizes public welfare and will continue these efforts in the future.
