Yesterday, officials raided two of Mangaraj’s buildings in Palamhi, Bhubaneswar—one two-storied and the other single-storied. He also owns a flat in the expensive Z-1 apartment complex in Bhubaneswar and a bungalow in Ernakulam, Kerala.
Further investigations uncovered ₹1.47 crore in various bank accounts and around 500 grams of gold jewelry at his residence. The raid involved eight DSPs, eight inspectors, and other officers. Today, Mangaraj was arrested following these discoveries.
