Vigilance broke into the house of leader Kailash Chandra Sahu, the chief engineer of Baitarani Basin, on charges of misappropriating assets.
They cordoned off 10 locations this morning, including Kailas’s paternal house. During the raid, officials uncovered 36 plots, 3 flats, a 3-storey building, and a duster lane in Korei, Jajpur. Vigilance officers also raided 10 locations, including Bhubaneswar, Puri, Cuttack, Jajpur, and Keonjhar.
Kailas faced accusations of asset misappropriation. After investigating the case, vigilance officers raided his house today.
