Yogi’s Leadership Under Fire as UP BJP MLAs Revolt

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh is facing an unprecedented crisis as six MLAs have openly challenged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership. The revolt comes after Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak voiced their dissent earlier.

Jaunpur MLA Ramesh Chandra Mishra, Gorakhpur MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh, Chowrichura MLA Sarban Kumar Nishad, Ghaziabad MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar, Mirzapur MLA Ratnakar Mishra, and BJP MLC Devendra Prasad Singh have joined the growing list of rebels. They are questioning party policies and raising concerns about the government’s performance.

Former minister and senior BJP leader Moti Singh has also spoken out against the government, stating that he has never seen such corruption in police stations and tehsils in his 42 years of political experience. Other senior leaders are also criticizing the actions of administrative officers.

The BJP in Uttar Pradesh is now clearly divided into two factions, with CM Yogi Adityanath struggling to contain the crisis. Despite his efforts to convince party MLAs and senior leaders, the revolt continues to grow.

The BJP’s poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh has exposed the internal conflict within the party. The media is constantly reporting on the growing dissent, with one MLA after another openly opposing party policies and questioning the government.
