SRC warned 7 districts of Odisha regarding possible storm

A low pressure area has formed in the state of Malacca on the south Andaman side. It is moving in a west north west direction. It will take the form of precipitation by Wednesday. It may develop into a storm in the next 48 hours. There is no clear information on possible storm impacts.

However, it is estimated that Odisha and Andhra will be affected. We can get clear information about the landfall on Wednesday. The Indian Meteorological Department is keeping a close eye on all the systems.

On the other hand, the special relief commissioner has issued a warning for 7 districts regarding the possible storm. SRC has alerted fishermen. The sea will be rough from next December 1st. The maximum wind speed will be 70 kmph. The sea is likely to be more rough on the 2nd. Fishermen have been advised not to go to the sea during that period.

In the next 24 hours there may be rain at some places. However, there is a possibility of rain in some places of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, districts on December 3. Similarly, there is a possibility of rain in coastal Odisha and some other areas on the 4th.

On the other hand, the meteorologist said, Odisha has already experienced storms in the month of November. But there is no sign of storm in December. It will take the form of a storm by the 3rd. This system will have a tropic line over western India. As a result, cold winds may blow. Various models estimate that the storm may touch Andhra or Odisha land. But the International Meteorological Department has estimated that there will be no impact on Odisha for the next 5 days.
