YB Khurania, who has recently assumed the role of Director General of Police, visited the family shrine and paid his respects to Lord Jagannath. During his visit, Puri police presented Khurania with the Mahaprabhu’s sword.
Khurania assured that the safety of the shrine and its devotees will be his top priority. He emphasized his commitment to enhancing security measures, including the recruitment of a special battalion for the shrine, which will begin soon.
