Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a three-day visit to Poland, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in 45 years. During his stay, Modi will receive an official welcome in Warsaw and meet with President Andrzej Sebastian Duda.
Modi will also hold bilateral talks with Donald Tusk and engage with the Indian community living in Poland, who are excited about his visit.
After Poland, Modi will travel to Ukraine on August 23. He will undertake a 10-hour train journey from Poland to Ukraine, making him the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Ukraine since the two nations established diplomatic relations in 1992. His visit aims to strengthen and expand the bilateral ties between India and Ukraine.
