Indian security forces achieved a major success this morning in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. In two separate operations near the Line of Control (LoC), the forces eliminated three terrorists. The Indian Army shared this update on Thursday.
Acting on intelligence reports about possible infiltration, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint operation on the night of August 28-29 in the Machhil area of Kupwara. Despite challenging weather conditions, soldiers detected suspicious activity and responded with precise fire, killing two terrorists.
Additionally, in a parallel operation on the LoC in the Tangdhar area, the army suspects another terrorist was killed. The forces are currently awaiting more detailed information.
