The controversy over the Tirupati temple intensifies as opposition grows following revelations about adulterated ghee used in the famous Tirupati ‘Ladoo Prasadam’ at the Sri Venkateswara Swami temple. In response, Advocate K. Karuna Sagar has filed a case in Hyderabad against former Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy.
Karuna Sagar accuses Jaganmohan Reddy of desecrating the temple and hurting Hindu religious sentiments. He filed the case at the Syedabad police station, citing a concerning lab report.
Shocked by the report, Karuna Sagar urged the police to investigate the incident thoroughly. He called for appropriate action against Jaganmohan Reddy and others for allegedly desecrating the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple and offending millions of Hindus.
Meanwhile, the Hyderabad police stated that this case falls under the jurisdiction of Andhra Pradesh. They are currently seeking legal advice and will determine further action based on that guidance.
In addition, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), which manages the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple, announced that they have sent the ghee for investigation in light of the adulteration allegations. Just two days ago, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu claimed that animal fat and fish oil had mixed into the laddu.
