An inhumane incident happened last night in a private college hostel in Bhavanipatna, Kalahandi district. There has been a lot of controversy in the entire region.
According to the complaint filed by the parents of the serious student at the police station last night, their son was living in the hostel with two fellow students in the said private college. A few days ago, 9 classmates of the said student beat him to death for some reason. The video was with the affected student. When they threatened to delete the said video, the aggrieved student did not listen.
Exasperated by this, the 9 accused students took the said student to the hostel roof last night according to the previous plan. There they beat him severely. He then threatened to stab her if the video was not deleted. Terrified, the student jumped from the roof.
Hearing a sudden noise, the hostel authorities and other children arrived rescued the injured student and admitted him to the medical centre. His condition is said to be stable there.
After the complaint of the parents of the student, the police registered a case and started investigating the incident.
