Congress president Mallikarjun Khadge strongly countered Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent statement about urban naxals. In response to Modi’s claim that urban naxals have taken over the Congress, Khadge stated that the BJP functions as a group of terrorists.
Khadge refuted Modi’s allegations, asserting, “Modi frequently labels the Congress as an urban naxal party. This is part of his routine. But what about his own party?”
He accused the BJP of engaging in violent acts, saying, “They are involved in incidents like extortion, physically assaulting people, and humiliating members of Scheduled Tribes. They also support those committing such acts, only to shift blame onto others. Modi has no right to make these accusations against Congress.”
Khadge pointed out the oppression faced by various castes, particularly tribals, under Modi’s government. He emphasized, “If you want to control the situation, you have the power to do so.”
During a speech in Washim, Maharashtra last week, Modi alleged that the Congress operates under the influence of urban naxals. He claimed they aim to push an agenda that divides people. “If we remain united, their divisive agenda will fail,” Modi asserted.
He further claimed, “Everyone can see how Congress aligns with those who harbor negative sentiments towards India. Their goal is to keep the oppressed oppressed and the poor poor. I urge everyone to stay cautious of Congress.
