The winter session of Parliament will begin on November 25 and continue until December 20, as confirmed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rijiju.
On November 26, Constitution Day, a special program will take place in the Central Hall to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Constitution.
This session will mark the first parliamentary gathering after assembly elections in four states. Elections took place in Jammu and Kashmir after a 10-year gap, with the National Conference and Congress actively participating.
The BJP achieved a historic hat-trick victory in Haryana, while the results of the Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections are set to be announced on November 23.
The winter session will include a discussion on the Waqf Amendment Bill. A joint parliamentary committee is currently reviewing the Waqf Bill and will submit its report to Parliament on November 29.
Additionally, the central government may introduce the One Nation, One Election Bill in both houses, likely sparking significant debate.
