Salman Khan has once again received a death threat, with a threatening message sent late last night to the Mumbai traffic control room. The message, reportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, warns of violence against the Bollywood actor.
The message mentions a song written about Salman Khan and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, stating that the song’s writer will not be spared. It threatens to kill the individual and warns that they will face severe consequences, ensuring they will never again dare to write a song under their name. The message concludes with a challenge to Salman, daring him to save the writer if he has the courage.
Police are working to trace the number from which the threat originated, though they have not yet disclosed which song is being targeted or who the writer is.
Despite the panic across Bollywood, Salman Khan remains focused on his work and continues filming his upcoming movie Sikandar in Hyderabad.
In response to the threat, Worli police station has filed a case and initiated an investigation. This threat follows a series of similar messages Salman received last month from the Bishnoi gang, which also claimed responsibility for the recent murder of Salman’s close friend and former Maharashtra minister, Baba Siddiqui. Since then, Salman has been inundated with threatening calls and messages.
As a precaution, authorities have increased Salman’s security, and additional measures have been implemented outside his apartment.
