Today is Kartik’s last Monday of the month. For this reason, devotees are thronging Baba Dhableswar Pitha in Ashtgarh, Cuttack. Extensive arrangements have been made by the administration for orderly viewing.
At around 3 o’clock tonight, the door was opened and Dhableswar was bathed in 108 g water. Later all the rituals like Mailam, Marsal Aalati etc. were performed. Later the devotees were taken away for darshan. For this, all arrangements have been made by the administration and the worshipers.
In the same way, today Ladhakur is visiting the devotees in the form of Hariha in the temple. After the vacation policy, Ladhakur was crowned as Harihar. While Ladathakura is considered Har or Shiva, the kinship of Hari (Vishnu) and Har (Shiva) blossoms in this guise. In this attire, Ladhakur wears half-white and half-black clothes and wears 32 types of golden ornaments.
Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath appears to devotees in the form of Radha Damodar. The floral attendants have decorated Ladhakur as Hariha and Sri Jagannath as Radhadamodha. In the temple, the devotee is satisfied to see the Radhadamodra form of Srijagannath in the Harihar form of Lada Thakur.
