Maharashtra is voting. Leaders are elected by the people. Voting has started in all 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra from 7 am. People are waiting in line to donate alcohol. There are a total of 158 parties in 288 seats. 9.70 crore voters elect their leaders. The entire country is watching the 288-seat Maharashtra election.
In Maharashtra, there will be a tough fight between Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi. While the BJP-led Mahayutti aims to retain power, the Maha Vikas Aghadi is hopeful of returning to power. After the split between NCP and Shiv Sena, there is a multi-faceted fight in the state. There will be a trial by fire for Shiv Sena and NCP. Voting started at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. Strict security arrangements have been made for orderly polling. 25 thousand police officers have been deployed.
People are deciding the fate of 4,136 candidates. In the elections, BJP is fighting in 149 seats, Shiv Sena 81, NCP 59, and Congress 101 candidates are in the field. Similarly, Shiv Sena UTB 95, NCP (Sharad Power) 86 candidates are fighting. BSP is contesting in 237 seats. BJP won 105 seats in 2019 elections. Shiv Sena won 56 seats and Congress won 44 seats.
A total of 158 teams including 6 major teams are testing their luck. But generally speaking, Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi will have a tough fight. There are a total of 9.70 crore voters in the state. 22.2 lakh of them are voting for the first time. The result will be published on the 23rd.
Second phase of voting in Jharkhand- After the first phase of voting on last 13th, the second phase of voting has started in Jharkhand today. In the second phase, 38 out of 81 seats are being voted on today. Madan continues amid tight security. In the second phase, the fate of more than 500 candidates including Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, his wife Pikasa Soren, and BJP’s Amar Kumar is being tested. 14,218 polling stations are accepting votes.
In this phase, there are 528 candidates in Madan. 1 crore 23 lakh 58 thousand 195 voters are deciding the fate of the candidates. While JMM’s Hemant Soren is in power in the state, there is hope that the BJP will form the government here. A strict security system has been adopted after voting in peace. 30,000 security personnel have been deployed to protect the polling officers, apart from 585 companies of the Central Paramilitary Forces and 60 companies of the Jharkhand Army. In the first phase, votes were received in 43 seats in Jharkhand. Jharkhand assembly election results including Maharashtra will be announced on the 23rd.
