On Saturday, a young woman from Assam was seen entering a serviced apartment in Bengaluru with her boyfriend, both appearing happy and cheerful.
However, three days later, her lifeless body, bearing injuries, was discovered in the same apartment. With her boyfriend missing, the police suspect he may be the prime suspect behind the incident.
On November 23, Maya Gogoi of Assam booked the serviced apartment along with her boyfriend Arab Harni. Serviced apartments have all the facilities of a hotel. However, the environment here is more like a home than a hotel. But services like hotels remain available here. Similarly, the rent here is also less compared to hotels.
Maya and her boyfriend booked the Arab service apartment for this very reason. Police suspect that Arab stabbed Maya multiple times on Monday. Then there is a full day with the dead body.
There is CCTV footage of Arab leaving the service apartment in the Indiranagar area alone on Tuesday morning. Photos of blood splattered on the bedsheets and pillows here have also come to light.
CCTV footage shows that no stranger entered the serviced apartment between November 23 and 26. The body was buried only after the Arabs left. As soon as the police received the report, the searcher reached the spot with the dog. Now the police are trying to catch Ferrar Arab.
