A school bus was hit by a trawler. More than 10 students were injured in the accident while one teacher was also seriously injured. The accident happened this morning near National Highway No. 55 in Dhenkanal District. The injured were rescued and admitted to the Dhenkanal District General Hospital.
This morning the bus was leaving the school with more than 30 students. Meanwhile, a trawler came and hit the school bus from behind. More than 10 students were injured in the accident while one teacher was also seriously injured. All were rescued and admitted to Dhenkanal District General Hospital. The students reportedly returned home after first aid.
After the accident, the trawler driver left the lane and hit the road. The police seized the vehicle and are investigating the incident.
