Capital Hospital will soon expand its ICU capacity to 40 beds, announced Aparajita Sarangi, Chairperson of the Patient Welfare Committee and Bhubaneswar MP. The hospital currently has 16 ICU beds, and the committee has approved the addition of 24 more during a recent meeting.
The committee actively reviewed key developments at the hospital during today’s meeting. Aparajita Sarangi highlighted that the hospital manages 1,432 dialysis cases monthly. To meet the growing demand, the hospital plans to increase dialysis sittings per bed from three to four daily.
Additionally, the committee approved the transfer of the closed Mission Shakti Café to SHG women for operation, aiming to enhance community involvement.
