The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted extensive raids across Kolkata as part of its probe into alleged corruption at RG Kar Medical College. Today, the CBI targeted 15 locations, including the home of Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, located in Beleghat.
The operation also included searches at the residence of Dr. Dekshisha Som from the RG Kar Hospital Forensic Department and the home of Devesh Som in Keshatopur, who is closely associated with Ghosh.
The CBI’s action follows the filing of a financial misappropriation case against Sandeep Ghosh yesterday. This development has heightened the possibility of Ghosh’s arrest.
In a related matter, Sanjay is scheduled to undergo a polygraph (lie detection) test at Presidency Jail today. A specialized 16-member team from CBI and CFSL, including experts from Kolkata and Delhi, will conduct the tests on Ghosh and three other suspects over the next few days.
