Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will attend an anti-Maoist meeting in Delhi, beginning a three-day visit today. During this visit, he plans to meet with several Union Ministers.
Tomorrow, a meeting will convene with the Chief Ministers of Maoist-affected states, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
Chief Ministers from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh will participate in the meeting. Additionally, five Union Ministers responsible for development cooperation in Maoist-affected states will join the discussions.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that national security advisers, senior officers from the Center and the states, and officers from the Central Armed Forces will also attend.
Last year, on October 6, Amit Shah conducted a review meeting with Chief Ministers from Maoist-affected states, during which he issued detailed instructions aimed at eradicating Maoist activity.
