Zeeshan Siddiqui received death threats after NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was killed. Jeeshan Siddiqui has been threatened with death by calling the officer’s landline number. The phone call came to the public relations office of Zeeshan, Bandra East. Police have arrested a person in this case.
Zeeshan Siddiqui received the threatening call on Friday evening. An unknown person threatened to kill Zeeshan Siddiqui and actor Salman Khan over the phone. Also asked for money. Since then, security has been tightened at Zeeshan’s house.
A case has been registered against unknown persons at Nirmalnagar Police Station based on the complaint filed by the office staff of Zeeshan Siddiqui. Police have arrested a person from Noida in this case. The arrested person is 20 years old and his name is Gurfan.
According to police sources, Mohammad Taib alias Gurfan is said to be a resident of Delhi. The accused from Noida was arrested from Sector-39 police station area. Mumbai Police has taken Gurfan on transit remand. Initial investigations revealed that the threatening calls were made only to demand money. However, the police are continuing to investigate the incident given every angle.
