A terrible fire broke out in a hut at Delang Pariba in the Puri district, destroying thousands of rupees worth of fish and burning various vegetables, including potatoes, beans, cabbage, collard greens, venison, onions, and garlic to ashes.
Last night, traders had left their families and returned home after selling their goods when the fire erupted in the hut. Local residents witnessed the blaze and promptly informed the fire brigade.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and extinguished the flames, but by then, everything had already turned to ashes. Authorities suspect that a miscreant may have deliberately set the hut on fire. Delang Police have detained a suspect and are currently interrogating him regarding the incident.
