Murasoli Selvam, former editor of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s Vinay and DMK’s mouthpiece Murasoli, is no more. He passed away today at the age of 85.

Selvam married Selvi, daughter of DMK founder M Karunanidhi. He is also the brother of former Union Minister Murasoli Maran. As a prominent member of the DMK, he played an important role in taking the party forward through Murasoli’s editorship.
