After the murder of Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai and statements from Canadian police, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has drawn significant media attention. Reports indicate that he maintains a hit list targeting several high-profile individuals and commands a network of over 700 shooters across the country.
This extensive network allows him to orchestrate attacks even while he remains incarcerated. Notably, on May 31, 2022, the gang claimed responsibility for the shooting death of singer Sidhu Moosewala in Jawaharke village, Punjab.
Recent developments reveal that Vikram Brar, a prominent shooter in Bishnoi’s gang, is currently grappling with multiple health issues. He receives treatment under medical supervision while serving time in a high-security jail in Ajmer, Rajasthan, where Bishnoi has also been previously held.
Vikram Brar was transported to JLN Hospital in Ajmer under tight security, where doctors confirmed he suffers from back pain and memory loss. He has been in Ajmer jail since Rajasthan Police arrested him.
Ajmer Jail Superintendent Parsmal Jangid stated that Brar recently received a visit from his mother, emphasizing his ongoing health challenges. The two criminals initially connected during their time at Punjab University, where they became active in student politics and developed a close friendship. However, both eventually shifted into criminal activities.
Originally from Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan, Vikram Brar faces 11 criminal cases against him, including charges related to extortion and weapon smuggling at Bishnoi’s direction.
