Thieves stole gold jewelry worth 15 lakh rupees from the Bengali Sahi Durga Mandap in Burundei, prompting a complaint at the Jajpur Korei police station.
After a feast last night, committee members and worshipers slept inside the temple. Around 2 AM, they noticed the main door was open. Upon investigation, they discovered that all of the mother’s gold and ornaments had been taken. The worshipers and sleeping committee members quickly informed the Korai police about the theft.
The stolen items include a necklace, crown, trishul, earrings, nose rings, and other jewelry, valued at approximately 15 lakh rupees. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
