Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a stern warning: strict action will be taken against anyone supporting terrorists, including the use of bulldozers to demolish their homes. Sinha stated that as terrorism incidents increase in Jammu and Kashmir, the administration will not tolerate any terrorist activity or assistance to terrorists within the state.
During a program in Baramulla, the Governor urged people to unite against terrorism. He emphasized that if residents, security forces, and the administration come together, they can eliminate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir within a year. Sinha directed security forces to avoid harming innocents but to act firmly against those guilty of supporting terrorism. He promised immediate action against anyone cooperating with terrorists, stressing that there would be no leniency.
Sinha also condemned the recent grenade attack in Srinagar, calling it “highly reprehensible.” He noted that while external forces contribute to the unrest, some individuals within the state actively promote violence in the valley.
The Governor expressed concern over the influence of neighbouring countries, which aim to destabilize Kashmir. He called on residents to resist these temptations and support the government and security forces in identifying those responsible for undermining peace in the region.
