Haryana holds assembly elections today, with voting for 90 seats starting at 7 am. More than 2 crore voters are set to exercise their right to vote, and all polling booths are ready. Consequently, crowds gathered early this morning to cast their votes.

This election is crucial from a political standpoint. The BJP aims to win and return to power, while the Congress is determined to capture Haryana. As a result, many are eager to see which party will secure the voting results.

In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the people of Haryana to participate in the elections. He posted on his social media account, X, stating, “Voting for the Haryana assembly elections is underway today. I appeal to all voters to join this sacred festival of democracy. Let’s create a new record in voting. My best wishes go to all the young voters in the state voting for the first time.”

Moreover, this election features a direct contest among three major parties: BJP, Congress, and AAP. Voting will continue until 6 pm, with 1,031 candidates competing for the 90 assembly seats in Haryana.

Furthermore, the state has set up 20,632 polling booths to facilitate voting, and authorities have implemented strict security measures. Approximately 30,000 police personnel and 225 paramilitary forces are on duty to ensure a smooth voting process.
